All units are bar coded providing a unique identification for each bench which allows the physical location and service record to be recorded and maintained. COA staff are equipped with a hand-held computer / GPS scanner. These portable units interface with COA's main computer server to record the details of each visit to a unit.
Power Washing
On a regular basis each unit receives a thorough cleaning using COA's mobile Power Washing vehicle, completely removing any built-up dirt.Waste RemovalThe litter bin is emptied and the area around the unit is inspected and any refuse is collected by one of COA's specialized garbage collection vehicles.
Recycling
The recycling waste from the separated containers is emptied into a specialized collection vehicle with separated compartments.
Outdoor Maintenance
As part of our regular maintenance, COA removes and/or cuts the grass from the base of the pad and collects of any waste from the pad and its immediate area. In the event that we are required to remove a unit we will re-landscape the terrain back to its original form. This will include either recovering the ground with sod, or seeding the ground and providing fill if necessary.
